The external repairs and shelter coating works (Phase I project) are now complete and all LBC conditions discharged. The Phase II project (internal sub-division of first floor space to expose historic wall painting and provide a new shower room) is currently underway with completion scheduled for end-August 2018.

An application for Listed Building Consent has recently been submitted to carry out external lime washing and internal refurbishment of this important Grade II* listed late-medieval almshouse. The application includes a Planning proposal to remove an unsightly flat roof structure to the rear elevation and replace it with a mono-pitch roof with natural slate coverings.
